“Lil”

Lillian Edith Mills Anspach, 88, of Charlotte passed away suddenly on August 28, 2011.

Born on February 5, 1923 in Ernul, NC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Mills, Sr. and Mettie Ella Wiley Mills. Lil was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William Henry Anspach, Sr.,son, William H. Anspach, Jr. and sisters, Gladys Mills and Mildred Vendrix.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Lil is survived by daughters

Deborah Shott (Partner Bob Mahoney) and Susan(Tom) Osiecki both of Charlotte; grandchildren, William H. Anspach, III (Stacey) of Richmond VA, Christopher Osiecki (Emily) of San Antonio TX, Jason French of Charlotte NC, Michael Anspach of Durham NC and Samantha Osiecki of Charlotte NC; great grandchildren, Todd and Teagan Anspach

of Richmond VA; sisters, Myrtle Ipock of New Bern NC, Evelyn Taylor of Durham,

NC, Ethel Spivey of Michigan and brothers Fred Mills, Jr. (Dottie) of New Bern NC and Marvin Mills

(MaryJo) of Arapahoe, NC; and many great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 am, Saturday September 3, 2011 followed by an 11:00 am service to celebrate her life

at Sharon Road Baptist Church, 6411 Sharon Rd., Charlotte, 28210. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Sharon Road Baptist Church or Lotty Moon International Mission Board www.imb.org/main/give
