Lee Anna McCree

A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Mrs. McCree was born to the late Wallace Cunningham and Beulah Miller on February 6, 1944. She was raised in Cairo, Georgia by her late grandmother, Mary Lizzie Hunter. Mrs. McCree was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte where she served as a greeter. She was also a faithful member of Energy Sports and Fitness gym. Mrs. McCree is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Patricia McCree; siblings, Benjamin Sadberry, Linda Powell and Anna Grace Forrest.

Mrs. McCree is survived by her husband, Willie Paul McCree of Charlotte; by daughters, Pamela Ann McCree-Woods and her husband Zachary of Raleigh, Paula McCree-Bailey and her husband Weldon of Charlotte; sisters, Jane Butcher of Bloomington, IL, Willie M. Sadberry-Grimball and her husband Albert of Jacksonville, FL, Shirley Gordon of Abbeville, GA, Earnestine P. Johnson and her husband Charles of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Jackie Forrest and his wife Cheryl of Cairo, GA; granddaughter, Winter Woods and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3:30p.m., Saturday, December 13 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. John Harrill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
