Kathleen was born April 30, 1951 in Schenectady New York to Donald Robert Parks and Sally Ann Duesler Parks Greenwood.
Upon graduating from Mount Pleasant High School Kathleen began her career at New York Telephone Company. Kathleen's phone career was cut short as she became a US Navy wife in Long Beach, California for 8 years. Her residential adventures began there with her final stop in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
While living in the South, Kathleen had a 25 year career at Macy's where she accumulated a multitude of wonderful friends.
Kathleen is survived by her mother Sally Ann Greenwood, her brother Robert (Kathy) Parks, sister Colleen Parks Andriano, brother Daniel C. Parks, multiple nieces and nephews, her life long friends Janice Brooks, Sandra Adrams Weisheit, Linda Williams Markopoulos, and above all her beloved daughter, travel companion and co-pilot Amanda Maureen Lindsley Wilson.
A celebration of her infectious smile will be held at Big View Diner-16637 Lancaster Highway-Charlotte, NC 28277 on April 29 6-8pm.
