Jeanene Stiles

Jeanene was born on November 8, 1930, in Windsor, New York, to the late Harold and Thelma Resue. She married her husband, of 67 years, Rees William Stiles, Sr. (Bill), on December 15, 1950. The Stiles family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1966, where they have lived in the same house for 51 years.

Along with her husband, Jeanene is survived by three children, Rees William Stiles, Jr. and wife, Karen, of Cary, North Carolina, Tracie Taylor of Waxhaw, North Carolina and Brian Stiles of Charlotte, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Kim Stiles of Mint Hill, North Carolina. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by son, Roger Thomas Lynn Stiles, sister, Sylvia Smith, and brother, Ronnie Resue.

Jeanene was a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother who loved her family dearly. She regularly attended University Hills Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, North Carolina, immediately followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m.
