Boiling Springs, NC - Jean Coyner formerly of Kings Mountain and Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully on August 9, 2022 at the age of 86. Jean was born at Mercy Hospital, Charlotte on Jan 2, 1936 to Lewis and Ethel McCall.
Jean graduated from Waxhaw HS in 1954 and soon after married Charles Williams. As a homemaker and mother they raised their only son Charles Williams Jr. From early teens until death Jean acquired, adopted and raised cats and kittens. They were a constant source of entertainment and joy for her. After her marriage with Charles Williams and many years of being alone she married John Coyner of Indiana who passed away in 2014.
Jean is survived by her son Charles Williams and his wife Linda, her grandsons Digory Williams and his wife Gina, Christopher Williams and his wife Stephanie, and Timothy Williams. Jean is also survived by her sisters Addie Couick, JoAn Gragg, and Lenoria Reid.
A memorial service will be held at Grover Church of God, 201 N Main St, Grover NC 28073 on Aug 21 at 3pm.
