He was a great husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was an important part of his family and enjoyed entertaining them. Those who knew Jamie, knew that he loved to goof around, and make people laugh.
Jamie was a hard worker and took great pride in his work ethics. When he was not working, you would find him showing off his talents as a self taught musician and song writer, being the best cook, and of course being the self-proclaimed golden child.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Tiffany; parents; Donna and Donnie Hovis, and David Ferrell; brother Trey; sister Nicole; children, Michael, Kylie, Gage, Liam, Braxton and Peyton, and grandson, Jaidyn; and grandmother Carolyn Hovis.
He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, to cherish his memory.
