Thomas was a Navy Korean War veteran and lifelong employee of Duke Energy. Thomas was an honorable Christian man, Deacon, choir member, and cook at the annual barbecue. Thomas was a quiet man that could speak volumes without saying a word and was always putting others before himself.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Ann Knight of 56 years; daughter, Cindy (Jeff) Schlappich, and son, Eric (Bonnie) Knight; grandchildren, Kari and Justin Schlappich, Delanie, Kyndal, and O’Brien Knight.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2:00PM in the Paul Helton Chapel of Forest Lawn West. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
