Hailey Herbert Beam, Jr., 90 of Charlotte passed away February 28, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Monday in the chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, Reverend Gene Craven officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Mr. Beam, was born in Anderson, SC June 14, 1922 son of the late Hailey Herbert Beam, Sr. and Mary Estelle Moore Beam. He was a member and Elder of Freedom Presbyterian Church, was a veteran of WWII, and retired from Cherry-Bekaert-Holland CPA firm as a printer. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Byrd and a son, Patrick Michael Beam all of Charlotte and grandchildren, Sean and Karl of Florida.
