Glenn Marshall Anderson Jr.

Born February 23, 1933 in Charlotte, NC, he was a son of the late Glenn Marshall Anderson Sr. and Effie B. Anderson.

After 20 years of service with the US Air Force, Glenn was honorably discharged, achieving the rank of Technical Sergeant. Following his military career, he had worked and retired from both Clorox and the Atlantic Envelope Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death was his wife, Maxine Anderson and an infant son, Bobby.

Survivors include, 4 children, Theresa Leigh Sotel of AL, Alton Ray Anderson of TX, Kenneth Wade Anderson of AL and Kathy Lynn Kilpatrick of AL; 3 step-children, Cheryl Alexander of Charlotte, NC, Michael Gilstrap of Charlotte, NC and Bobby Gilstrap of Chapin, SC; 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services are planned for 11 am Friday, February 5, 2016 at McEwen Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Road, Charlotte, where friends may visit from 10 to 11 am.

Burial will take place in Sugaw Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
