Ethan Langford Wilson, age 26, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021. He was born July 4, 1995 in Charlotte. He is the son of Ronnie and Pamela Hall Wilson also of Charlotte. He was a French immersion student at Smith Academy of International Languages and a 2014 graduate of South Mecklenburg High School.
In his youth, Ethan participated in several sports leagues in Charlotte including South Park Youth Association where he played football and baseball. He was a print operator with Services Materials Group.
Ethan is survived by his parents; his brother Greyson Rawls Wilson of Charlotte; his paternal grandmother, Peggy Davis Wilson of Nashville, TN, his paternal grandfather, Jerrell Wilson of Nebo, NC; his Uncle Darryl Hall of Charlotte, Aunt Sheila & Uncle Ron O'Farrell of Lake Mary, FL, Aunt Jen & Aunt Erin Wilson-Doolittle of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Aunt Holly & Uncle Steve Verbos of Palmyra, VA; and cousins Sarah & Zachary O’Farrell, Alex & Brian Rosado, and Laurel, Mary Ashlyn, & Saryn Verbos.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Terry and Ann Hall of Oak Grove, FL and Georgia Ruth Wilson of Nebo, NC.
Ethan was an intelligent, fun-loving, affectionate young man with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by many but especially his closest friends Maya Heidt, Darryl Black, Cannon Turner, Dylan Staub, and Bedrick Yobo who all held a special place in Ethan’s heart.
Visitation will take place on Friday, October 22, 2021 beginning at 11am at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte 28212. Funeral Service will follow at 1pm.
