Donna Ziegler, 73, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Robert Page Gaddy and Betty Shannon Gaddy on July 15, 1950.
Donna lived her entire life in Charlotte where in 1967 she met her soul mate Johnny Ziegler whom she was married to for a wonderful 56 years. Together they had 3 sons Lonnie, Keith and Danny Ziegler. Donna was employed for the Charlotte Police Dept where she spent over 25 years. She worked as a supervisor in the non emergency services dept. In 2013 she retired to spend time with her beloved grandchildren Camila and Daniel Ziegler. She loved spending time with her beautiful family and her beloved puppies. Donna was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Donna is survived by her loving husband Johnny; children Lonnie, Keith and Danny; grandchildren Camila and Daniel.
A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, February 2, 2024 beginning at 2pm at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: American Cancer Society in her memory.
