words could never express the sorrow and grief that fills me with this tragic great loss. my heart is broken for you all…
dana was one of my very best friends for the past 19 years. we were preschool mamas together & thick as thieves! for such a little thing, she always had such a big presence. she’d fill up any room with her spunk, her light, laughter & warmth.  she was thoughtful, caring & always had the best stories and kept me in stitches! we’d share recipes constantly,  had silly banter and of course would talk about the real stuff that actually mattered in life. she loved you boys fiercely & so deeply! i’ll never forget the time one of you boys fell in my front yard. y'all were like 2 & 5. i can’t even remember now who it was that fell on the curb in my front yard and cut their head.  dana stayed calm, cool & collected and said “well that’s gonna be 12 staples” & took you boys to the ER.  i was in shock and awe of how chill she was. and she pretty much nailed the number of staples. y’all were her whole world! and those country club birthday parties were pretty epic too! 
i will always treasure the friendship we had, the laughter we shared & memories we made. she just had so so much good & i pray yall hold onto to all of that!  she will forever be missed, but will forever remain in our hearts!

here taking dana on a day with a surprise scavenger hunt for her 40th in the ATL.  we had the best weekend & always had so much fun together. some would call it shopping. dana would say “let’s go play!” and that we did! i don’t think they have shopping in heaven…but i do know we will laugh together again and talk about it all in heaven someday sweet friend. i will always cherish our friendship & will miss you more than you ever know! you were so dearly loved dana & will forever remain in our hearts. i can promise you that i will forever always be covering all 3 of your boys in my prayers.  💛💛💛

Sending our heartfelt condolences to the McPherson family(s).  Since the day I met Dana, I absolutely loved her.  She made it so easy for others to gravitate to her with her beautiful smile and personality.  She was so much fun and at family gatherings, I would seek her out.  What a loss to this wonderful family.  I so wish we could be there to say our good-byes and to show our support to her loved ones.  I pray God will place his hands on each of you and ease your pain and remember the good memories this wonderful lady bestowed upon her family and friends.

Dana was one of my dearest friends for 20 years.  She was always quick to laugh and so much fun to be around.  She was always so supportive and I’ll miss her terribly.
