Cole Alexander Howard

Born on January 13, 2000, he was the middle son to Karen and Kevin Howard. An energetic boy, Cole loved to ride dirt bikes, rodeo at "Circle K", had an affection for dogs, especially strays, and was a keen hunter. Cole was truly fearless!!

In later years, Cole graduated from Piedmont High School and began working for his dad at Howards Earthworks. Whitetail deer hunting in Texas became a favorite trip for Cole; as well as visiting his grandparents and cousins in Northern New York, working on the farm.

Cole absolutely loved hanging out with his friends, whom he treasured; each and everyone of them. He was always up for a good time! Cole never met a stranger. To quote his friends, he was definitely

"One of a Kind"!

Cole will lovingly be remembered by his parents; Karen and Kevin Howard, his brother, Josh, his grandparents; Howard and Dot Knight; aunts and uncles; David Knight, Kathy and John Meigs, Cheryl and Billy Sellers, Brian Knight, Diana Howard, and Ken and Kristi Howard; as well as numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by his older brother, Michael and grandparents, John and Phyllis Howard.

Family will receive friends Thursday, October 14th, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd. Mint Hill, NC 28227. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at 12:00pm at St. Luke Catholic Church 13700 Lawyers Road Mint Hill, NC 28227. Cole will be laid to rest next to his brother at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews, NC.
