Mrs. Sherrill, a resident of The Cypress of Charlotte, passed away September 15, 2014.
Born March 2, 1916 in Emporium, PA, Mrs. Sherrill moved to Charlotte in 1929. She was a longtime member of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Sherrill is survived by one son, Everette Sherrill and wife Jean of Winston-Salem; and two granddaughters, Carolyn S. Fuller and husband Edwin of Winston-Salem and Mary McLean Sherrill and husband Matt Holland of Bethania, NC; as well as two great-grandchildren, Stuart Fuller and Pierson Fuller of Winston-Salem.
Mrs. Sherrill will be entombed in a private family ceremony.
Memorials may be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
The family wishes to offer special thanks to Hospice and the staff and caregivers at The Cypress for their exceptional care and kindness in Mrs. Sherrill’s last years.
