Carolyn M. Piercy, age 84 of Charlotte, beloved wife of Guy Vincent Piercy, Sr., passed away on May 12, 2015. Born in Mecklenburg County on April 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late David Clyde and Sadie Rushing Mullis.
Mrs. Piercy was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who were part of her life.
Besides her husband Guy, she is survived by her 6 children; Peggy Heffner(Jimmy) of Mt Holly, Diane Brock of Clover, SC, Mike Porter(Rose) of Gastonia, Jeannie Piercy(Bob) of Charlotte, Guy Piercy, Jr.(Patricia) of Charlotte and Sylvester Piercy(Karen) of Charlotte. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 sisters. She was predeceased by one son and 2 brothers.
