Billy Herman Adkins

Mr. Billy Herman Adkins (85) went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 3, 2024. His loving family was by his side. He is survived by his soulmate and wife of 60 years, Betty Adkins. Children; Cynthia Stull (Anthony) of Cardington Ohio, Lecia Beam (Jonathan) of Fort Mill SC, Michael Adkins (Jennifer) of Kannapolis NC, and Joanna Adkins of Charlotte NC. Grandchildren; Martin Still (Mackenzie) of Apple Valley OH, Chaelsie Jenyk (Adam) of Warren OH, Jessica Adkins (Corey Hoffman) of Logan OH, Anthony (AJ) Stull (Olivia) of Galion OH, Kayla Sellers, Isaiah Adkins and Kaiden Adkins all of Kannapolis NC. Great grandchildren; Adam (AJ) Jenyk of Warren OH and River Lea Hoffman of Logan OH. Siblings; Paul (Carol) Adkins, Gene (Maxine) Adkins, and Judy Parsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virginia Gearheart Adkins and Roscoe Adkins as well as many of his siblings.

Billy loved sports of every kind, but he especially loved Major Leage Baseball and his NY Yankees. He also loved watching the NFL and his favorite teams the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49’ers. He loved to tease his family members when their favorite teams were not doing well. He would watch any kind of sport from women’s softball to corn hole tournaments. He loved to fish as well and taught all his children how.

Billy was a wonderful husband and father, never had a bad word to say about anyone and never complained about anything. He will be profoundly missed by his loved ones and all who knew him.
