Betty Jean Gilbert Edwards, 92 of Matthews, NC passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023. She was born to the late Silas V. and Eva Gilbert on September 20, 1931.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, JT Edwards, her parents, 5 sisters and 5 brothers.
Left to mourn her loss are her children, Gail Edwards (Tim Gettis), Yvette (Rob) Robinson, Brian Edwards. Grandchildren, Justin (Emily) Keziah, Allison Keziah, Emily (Joshua) McSwain, Abby (John) Hinson, Kayla, Sarah and Ethan Edwards along with her great grandchildren Ada Mae McSwain and Brooks and Graham Hinson.
There will be a private service for immediate family only per Betty's request. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Sharon Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the care of McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park.
