Born November 20, 1996, he was the beloved son of Alex and Jean Fairley. After attending Carmel Middle School and Holy Trinity Middle School, Anderson attended South Mecklenburg High School. He worked in the auto repair business, the roofing industry and most recently had begun a career as an electrician at Genesis Electric and later, Lanehart Electric in Fort Mill, SC.
Anderson was a unique and well-liked individual that had many friends that were attracted to his energy and positive outlook and his ability to lift up others when they needed it most. He was always interested in trucks, automobiles and motorcycles, rebuilding and modifying several in his parents’ driveway. His collection ranged from his maternal grandfather’s F-150 to a 1989 Miata, several motorcycles and Mustangs. Always ready to help friends with their cars, trucks and motorcycles, either at home or at a rented storage building, he built a diverse network of gearheads that shared his passion for motor vehicles.
Always the animal lover, his pets included rescue cats, Philip and Simba, many exotic fish, lizards, ducks, chickens, childhood pets, dachshunds Lucy and Jake, and many more.
He is survived by his parents, Alex and Jean Fairley; his sister and nephew,Jessie Fairley and Ezra Pineda; grandparents, David and Beverly Fairley; uncles, Bill and John Fairley and their families; and Jean’s sisters, Mary Anderson and Suzanne Lankford and their families. Having been adopted at birth, he is beloved by his “birth family” in Raleigh as well, Christina and Todd West and their daughters, Sydney, Abby and Riley; Nate Denton and his son Ty; Nate’s father, Randy Denton, Christina’s parents Steve Smith and Henri Thomas, and Tom and Diane West.
