Eric Wells Walker

Eric Wells Walker, 23, of Charleston passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Lynn Wells-Walker; his paternal grandparents, Bernard and Sophie Walker; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Ernestine Wells. Eric was a student as West Virginia State University where he was pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in English. He attended Park Avenue Church of Christ in Charleston. Eric loved playing golf and deep sea fishing with his father, Charles “Chuck” Walker and his brother, Cody. Also, Eric loved traveling with his mother, watching movies, reading books, and developed the love of literature. Eric is survived by his father, Charles “Chuck” Walker of Charleston; brother, Cody Wells Walker at home; cousin, Justin (Brandi) Walker and their children, Victoria and Reagan of Williamsburg, VA; aunt, Karen Wells of South Charleston; uncle, Ronnie (Linda) Wells of Wilmington, NC. A Funeral Service to Honor the Life of Eric Wells Walker will be held, Monday, March 14, 2016 at Twelve O’clock, Noon at Bartlett Burdette Cox Funeral Home, Charleston with Minister Steve Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hill Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time
