Scott was born on September 13th, 1969, in Apple Valley, California to Wayne and Carol Slaven. Scott graduated from Coalinga High School in 1987 and moved to Mesa, Arizona two years later in 1989. He attended college at Arizona State University where he majored in communications. He worked for several years as an air traffic controller for emergency services in Phoenix, Arizona.
Scott will always be loved and remembered for his youthful spirit, kindness towards others, his random gifts, love of animals, as well as being a movie buff and a trivia king. When it came to ‘Jeopardy!’, nobody stood a chance against Scott.
Scott was preceded in death by his father Wayne and is survived by his mother, Carol, his sister Shannon Reeves, brother-in-law Dean Reeves, and nephews Sam and Zack Reeves.
Services for Scott will be held Friday, October 7th, 2022, at the Valley of the Sun Cemetery in Chandler, Arizona.
