Robert Howard Johnson Jr.

Bob graduated from Gloucester City (NJ) High School and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS Sanctuary in Vietnam, and witnessing the Tet Offensive. While overseas, he met his future wife, Angelina Leona and they were married on October 9, 1968 in the Philippine Islands.

He retired from over 4 decades as a repairman and technician for Bell Atlantic and Verizon. Bob had a passion for fishing, Philadelphia sports teams, his wife and family, and above all: serving God.

Bob is preceded in passing by his wife, Angelina. He is survived by his children: Christine (Joe) Scarduzio, Cynthia (Bud) Horner, Robert Johnson III, Charlene (Matt) Croft; grandchildren: Angie, Victoria, Logan, Dawn, Scarlett, Valerie, Nathan, Danielle, and Olivia; and brother: Roger (Marie) Johnson.

A visitation for Bob will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248. His funeral service will occur afterwards at 1:00 PM, and followed by the graveside service with US Navy Honors at 2:30 PM; all services at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248.
