My deepest condolences and prayers for the Rainey family. Mark was a very likeable person and I enjoyed being a co-worker of his. We shared many  late evenings in the office doing the necessary work clients expected of us. He had a strong work ethic that I'm pretty sure translated back to his Texas upbringing and family relationships. Will miss you Mark Richard Rainey...

Mark was a great friend and an exceptional employee. He was always there to assist our team ensuring success.  I'll miss him!!!!!

I am so sadden about Mark's passing. He was such a good person. He was one of my first friends when I moved to Arizona and has always been one of of my biggest supporters.  He made the Pagenet days fun. I also liked seeing his smiling face at CVS Health. I know how much he loved Tanya and Sam, as his entire face lit up every time he spoke of his family. He is dearly missed.

Hi Tanya, thank you for you nice note.. I have so many fond memories of Mark growing up. When his dad was so sick I would often see them in the front yard playing catch. His mom did a great job of raising Mark, Shelley and Mike after Bud passed away. She was so happy when you and Mark met and got married. Also she loved Sam.. every time I saw her she always shows me her newest pictures of Sam!! I know these days are difficult ...you were Mark's rock these last months . I am thinking of the whole family and praying for God to give you strength ❤

May you rest in peace Mark. I am thankful I was able to have the privilege and honor of working with you. There were many times when things didn't go as planned with our clients, but I always knew I could count on you. You will be greatly missed, our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Mark was a great employee and I really enjoyed working with him.  He was always extremely thoughtful helpful to anyone that was needing assistance.  I know how much he loved his family and the great joy they brought into his life.  There is no doubt that Mark impacted others and made a difference in his clients and co-workers lives.  I'll miss Mark!!

Rest in peace Mark.  I was lucky enough to go thru training at CVS with Mark and then we were placed on the same team.  He was always willing to help and share a smile at the same time.  He will definitely be missed.

We are heartbroken for Tanya and Sam. Mark will be remembered in our family as a loving husband to Tanya and wonderful father to Sam. Always smiling and kind. I will always remember his love for his family and his great smile.

I am sorry to hear of Mark's passing. We lived across the street in Richardson and my kids played with Mark and all the other Vinecrest children. Mark was the sweetest, most respectful boy and always seemed so happy. I'm so sorry he lost this battle. Sending prayers to his family.

Mark lived next door to us in Richardson and was a great guy ! We are heartbroken that he lost his fight with this cancer! Mark was with me and my three children at vacation bible school the day HIS father passed away from cancer. Mark was very young and now my heart is heavy that Mark's son Sam will grow up without his father ! Sometimes we don't understand why God calls young men to live in His house! Lisa, Sam , Shelley and Mike please know that we are thinking of all of you and praying for strength. We should rejoice that he is no longer in pain and in a place more beautiful than we can imagine and is reunited with his mom and dad! RIP Mark, you will be missed and we treasure all the memories we have of good times together!

Mark was one of the "kids" on Vinecrest Lane, Richardson. They all hung out together - Cub Scouts, Mohawk Elementary and our pool. He was a great kid and man. The world is sadder without him.He left a shining spot in the world.

Mark and I grew up in Richardson, two houses apart. Though we grew apart as we got older, he is a part of my childhood self that I will never forget. We played with Star Wars action figures, we were in cub scouts, we had sleepovers and built tree forts and walked to Greenwood Hills pool. He was a stalwart defender of younger kids against bullies and of my sister against ignorance and hate (she was in a wheelchair, which Mark saw only as a cool accessory, not a disability).

I spent countless weekend nights on his pullout couch, building blanket forts and watching cartoons. He was blonde, athletic, popular, where I was dark-haired, heavy, and marginalized. He was my best friend for a decade, and even after we went our different ways, I remain a better person for having known him.

There were two Marks on our street, so as the elder statesman, he was "Big Mark" and his neighbor, "Little Mark." The day I met Big Mark, as we unloaded the truck from our move from Houston, he stuck his hand out and introduced himself boldly as "Big Mark." My mother laughed out loud and said that sounded like he was a lumberjack. All of 8 years old, Mark shot us a big grin. It's the same one exactly you see in his picture here.

Thank you, Big Mark, for being my first, best friend in Richardson. I owe you more than I can say.

So Sorry to hear of Mark's passing, You are not alone during this time of sorrow and pain. May God give your family strength and comfort to help you endure his loss. As you remember your beloved one, the God of peace give you comfort and peace in every way.
