Naperville Illinois she was the daughter of Don McCoy and the late Eileen
McCoy.
In her childhood, her family experienced several relocations, but they
settled in Yorba Linda, California where she graduated from El Dorado High
School. During her high school years , she sang in the school Glee Club and
being an avid and skilled horseback rider, competed in many Equestrian
Events, winning many blue ribbons in dressage.
Shortly after graduating from high school she met her husband Scott Graham
whom she was married to for 18 years.
They moved to Arizona in 2000. Lauren worked for several different major
companies until the birth of her daughter Cierra in 2002.
Lauren was a loving , caring daughter , wife, and mother . The love of her
life was her daughter Cierra.
She also had a great love for all animals and was very involved in the
Greyhounds of Fairhaven Rescue Group , not only fostering but also adopting
several Greyhounds. She later became active in also rescuing pit bulls. And
her love for cats found her always rescuing strays.
Lauren was very proud of being an active member of the Star Wars Dune Sea
Garrison 501st Legion where she and her husband Scott participated in
costume at many charitable events with the group. We are thankful for the
tremendous outpouring of sentiments and support from her many friends in the
Garrison.
Lauren was full of life and was always willing to help others whenever she
could . Sadly the last two years of her life have been very difficult for
her and all of those that loved her. We are all heart broken losing Lauren
just three months after her mother Eileen passed away in May of this year.
We know that she is free from her struggles and is now with her mother and
God in heaven watching over us .
She is survived by her father Don , loving brother Chris, and his wife and
Lauren`s friend Jen. She is also survived by her beautiful daughter Cierra ,
ex-husband Scott Graham , her Uncle Lloyd Goudreau , her niece Cody McCoy,
and her loving cat Junior.
In lieu of flowers , please consider a donation in Lauren`s name to the
Greyhounds of Fairhaven . Greyhounds of Fairhaven is a non- profit group of
volunteers who rescue and help in the adoption of retired racing greyhounds
Their website is "greyhoundsoffairhaven.org."
