He was born on July 7, 1940 in Pueblo, Colorado to Chester and Jessie (Root) Watson. He served with the U.S. Army as a Private First Class from 1965 to 1969. Gordon worked as a lithographer for General Electric, APS, and Basha's, where he retired from. Gordon enjoyed camping and fishing, however he was most passionate about his family.
Gordon is preceded in passing by his parents, along with his brothers, Don and Jerry. He is survived by his wife, Betty Watson; his daughters, Danelle Mason, Theresa Villagomez, and Rhoda Moore; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A celebration of Gordon's life with military honors will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Mesa East Property Owners Clubhouse - 225 S 74th Street - Mesa, Arizona 85208.
