Hard to believe it’s been 2 years since you left us Dad. Miss you and love you! Thank you for your service to our great country and to our Salmon family!

R.I.P.  Mr. Salmon. I will always remember you fondly. My first Safeway manager at Clayton.  You were always a kind and gentle man, and I always took out Janie’s groceries every week when she shopped on pay day.  I got spoiled  by having you as my first Safeway boss; I thought they would all be so wonderful. I learned, through the years, how wrong I was.  Thank you, Don Salmon for being a great boss. 

Dearest Janie and Family,

I am so sorry that we cannot attend the Services for your Beloved Don today.  I, too, am ill with an upper respiratory infection and have been homebound for over a week.

We will miss Don's sweet smile and quiet wit.  He was a very special man and we greatly enjoyed our time with you both.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, and I know he has found his place in Heaven.

Donald was a treasured Brother in law to our family, we have many wonderful memories of time spent with him.  We loved him dearly and will miss him always.  

Donald’s family he created were so blessed with the very best Husband, Father and Grandpa any family could ever hope for.
To our sister Janie and family, we are so sorry for your tremendous loss and pray for your peace and comfort during this sad time.

Sorry to hear of Donald’s passing. I had many years of friendly golf matches with Don and always with a couple of dollars involved. Will miss him


Grandpa Salmon, I’m so thankful for the time we’ve had over these few years. You and Grandma will always be considered as one of my own Grandparents and thank you for welcoming me into the family as your own. You’ve set great examples in Cathy Jane and I’s lives that will always continue to live on. I’ll miss your smart and witty remarks and laughter during all of Grandma’s many stories. Love you.

Our hearts our heavy with the passing of Uncle Donald.  We pray for your peace during this difficult time, and that you share precious memories and dwell on the love he had for each of you. 

To Janie and family:
Ron and I are so sad that we have lost one of the nicest guys ever.  We met you dancing and will always remember all the fun we had - especially when Donald and Herbie would sing out loud to those old songs...... Can't forget when the true 50's songs were played and up to the dance floor would go Janie and Don.    May all your hearts heal in the months ahead and try to remember that he lived the good life....alway with that great laugh....
  


My sweet Grandpa. I love you so much. Thank you for everything you did for me growing up, and continued to do into adulthood. Like I always told you, you’re one of my hero’s. I love you so, so much. The best grandpa in the world. I’ll miss you forever, but will always have you with me wherever I go.

We are very sad to say good bye to you on Earth. But we know God and Jesus have a better plan for you in Heaven. I'm so grateful to have had almost 63 years with you as my Dad. I will always be appreciative of how you took care and provided for Mom, Donnie, Terry, me, your Grandchildren, Melissa, Todd, Cathy Jane, Amber, Sara, McKenna, McCartney, your Great Grandchildren Max, and Cris. As well as other family members. Could not have asked for a better Dad then you. Please know that you raised and taught me well. Thank you for instilling LOVE, fairness, respect,  a great work ethic, integrity, honesty, organizational skills, outspokenness, and always doing the right thing.
