Dixie Lucille Smith, 84 of Chandler, AZ formerly of Tempe, AZ, passed away on August 14, 2014. Dixie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and warmhearted Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart and husband, Homer Dallas Smith. Survived by her four children, Richard K. (Nancy) Smith, of Fallbrook, CA, Ronald K. Smith (Wendy Baker) of Tempe, AZ, Patricia N. (Julian) Evola, of Portland, OR and Roger P. (Shellye) Smith, of Gilbert, AZ; 10 loving grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10a.m. August 20, 2014, at The First Baptist Church of Chandler, 3405 S. Arizona Ave., Chandler, AZ. 85248. Memorial contributions may be made in Dixie's honor to the First Baptist Church of Chandler Nursery Fund.
