Desiree Michelle Salas

Desiree is survived by her parents, Audry Salas (Justin), Joe Salas (Janice), her high school sweetheart Rene Gonzalez, her Sister Eliza Salas (JoeAndy), her nephew Xavier, Brother Alejandro Salas (Brianna), her nephew Andre, her paternal grandparents Larry and Evelyn Salas, maternal Grandmother Doris Martinez, maternal Grandfather Juan Vigil, and her little pride and joy Lucas (Chihuahua), she is preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather Teddy.

Desiree was born on January 9th 1997 in Colorado Springs Colorado to Joe Salas and Audry Salas. She Graduated in 2015 from Pinnacle high school. She was actively working on her business venture, (Everything you Desire), creating personalized items.

Desiree was devoted to reaching out to family and friends so that everyone would stay in touch. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and only wanted for everyone to be together and get along. She was talented and creative which is what inspired her vision to create items that would bring people closer. She was very determined and strong willed and this led to her always doing some type of side work from diaper cakes, to customized gifts which screamed of being unique. Her teen years were filled with customizing a bike that won several first place awards due to her innate creativity. She was also a problem-solver and there was nothing that she wouldn’t tackle from working on her own car to building wall decor from scratch. She was very intuitive and thoughtful leaving behind little golden nuggets of Joy scattered throughout voicemails, texts, and social media. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew her.

A Viewing with Rosary will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday January 23rd at Valley of the Sun Mortuary located at 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248

A funeral service for Desiree will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 141 N Macdonald, Mesa, AZ 85201
