Carrie Kinard was born on May 5, 1930 in Kinston, North Carolina. Her parents were Mose and Carrie Watson. There were seven siblings in all. She was the last one depart this world. Carrie received her education In Kenston, North Carolina. Carrie was a hair dresser and she also worked as a nurse for the mentally disabled for 33 1/2 years. Carrie was married to Valentine Kinard for 34 years. They loved each other very much. She had two daughters, five grand children and eight great grand children. She loved all of her babies, as she called them her children.
Mama, we will love you forever and always. The Lord took you on Easter Sunday which is the resurrection of Christ. She went to be with her Lord on March 27, 2016 at 9:35 p.m. We know you went up yonder to be with your Lord. She sang this song the day before she departed. She was a picture of health. She sang with us and danced from her bed. She loved music and fashions. She had a way of making us laugh; a fun person. Mom, we will miss you. Lots of love and respect. We thank God for you.
