Beth was born in Gunnison, Utah to Lillie O. Whitlock and Royal Whitlock on May 9, 1928. She was the youngest of her five siblings, Aldous, Alice, Royal Jr., Genevieve and Glen. She adored her mother and father and was very close to her sisters. She moved as a teenager with her parents to Salt Lake and attended South High School, where she had many friends and loved to dance.
She married Merlin Foard on October 16, 1947. They had two daughters together and ran three small grocery stores in Salt Lake. She later went on to work in marketing for over 20 years.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Marci Foard and Mary Rudd and Wilson Rudd, her three grandchildren, and her cat Grace.
Beth was a kind and gentle lady with a side of spunk and witty sense of humor. She loved her family, adored her grandchildren and cherished her pets. She is truly loved and will be greatly missed.
