She is preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
Surviving Madeline is her loving husband of 68 years, Clair K. Baker, daughters Sandra (Buck) Hessler and Particia (Darrell) Curtis, five grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Madeline was a devout Christian who delighted in spending time with her family including the 21 grandchildren. She was a kind, generous and caring person who found many opportunities to quietly help others. She is greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Family and friends are welcome to honor and celebrate Madeline’s life with the visitation being held on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 12:30-1:00pm at Parklawn Funeral Home, 3218 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17202. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Mike Sanders and Pastor Carl McKee of the Open Door Church will be held immediately afterwards at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
