Donald Leroy Shipley

Born in Franklin County, PA on January 14, 1939 to the late Guy and Esther (Keefer) Shipley.

He is preceded in passing by his loving wife Shirley J. Shipley; brothers, Boyd Shipley and his wife Evelyn, William Shipley; sister, Mary Witmer and her husband Robert, and daughter in-law Connie Shipley.

Surviving Donald is his daughter, Dixie L. Pauley (Jon); son, Barry Shipley; grandchildren Kye and Amber Shipley; great-grandchildren Hailey, Maverick and Kaiden; brothers, Richard Shipley and Alvin Shipley (Michelle); sisters, Freda Weirich, Susan Haynes (J. W.), Daisy Arrison (Jerry); and sister in-law Janice Shipley; along with many nieces and nephews.

Donald loved anything TV but he especially enjoyed watching NASCAR and Old Westerns. In his younger years he was also an avid outdoorsman and hunter.

A visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00pm on Tuesday October 22, 2024 in Parklawns Funeral Home; 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201 with a graveside service to follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
