Fant; grandfather to Drew Jackson, Kate Jackson, Ethan Hebert, Mikey Strain, Macie Hebert, and Matthew Hebert Jr. Proud brother of Harold Joseph Hebert (Janet), and sisters Adrienne Hebert and Diann Zeller. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold Joseph and Irmadale Reitha Hebert
Born on February 28, 1943 in New Orleans, LA, William was in the automobile industry and was a dedicated special-needs bus driver with a passion for life, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the age of 80. He will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and the community he served for so many years.
William had a unique zest for life that was reflected in his various interests. He had a deep love for fishing, spending countless hours by the water's edge, casting lines, and savoring the tranquility of the great outdoors. Beyond his love for fishing, William enjoyed the thrill of visiting the casino. Whether it was trying his luck at the slot machines or engaging in card games, he found joy in the excitement of the casino environment. His enthusiasm for the occasional gamble added another layer to his vibrant personality.
As a bus driver, William was more than just a professional; he was a pillar of the community. His commitment to ensuring the safety of his passengers for seventeen years was unwavering. His friendly demeanor and warm smile made every ride an enjoyable experience for all who crossed his path. William was a hardworking individual who believed in the value of dedication and commitment to his profession. His work ethic and reliability set a high standard for those around him.
