Thanh Van Tran passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the age of 66. His final days were spend surrounded by family and friends that he touched in some way throughout his very memorable life.
He is the beloved husband of Mong-Nga Pham. Loving father of Alan Van Tran and Quynh Thi Tran. Brother of Ha Tran, Dong Tran, Tam Nguyen, Thu Nguyen and the late Hai Tran. Father-in-law of Gabriel Duhon. Beloved son of the late Cap Van Tran and Gia Thi Nguyen. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, July 7th from 11:00AM – 4:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass at Mary Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church, 14001 Dwyer Blvd, New Orleans, LA beginning at 6:00PM.
A second Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church, 14001 Dwyer Blvd, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, July 8th beginning at 9:00AM.
He will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
