Shirley Lehmann Hudson, a native of Chalmette, Louisiana and current resident of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was 85 years old. She was the beloved wife of Bobby Jack Hudson, Sr.; loving mother of Bobby Jack Hudson, Jr. (Vickie), and Cheryl Hudson Lacoste (Chris); proud grandmother of Chad Hudson, Jason Lacoste (Lori), Brandy Driskill (Brian), Brian Lacoste (Julia), and Christi Koenig (Jordan); and great-grandmother of Allie, Landon, Leah, Brylee, Brenna, Piper, and Abigail. She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Myrtle and Joseph Lehmann, Sr.; and by her brother, the late Joseph Lehmann, Jr. (Marilyn). Shirley is also survived by numerous other relatives, and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, October 14, 2022, at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in her memory at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
