Robert Leslie McNab Sr.

Robert Leslie McNab Sr. passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the age of 73. He was the cherished husband of the late Jaqueline “Jackie” Mary Jones McNab for 56 years. Loving father of Robin McNab Pomes (Steve) and Robert “Robbie” McNab Jr. (Sandy). Son of the late Harvey and Elva McNab.

Brother of Harvey “Mike” McNab, Rosalie Rappold (Charlie) and Nellie Gevery. Proud grandfather of Rachel (Marco), Randi (Ryan), Kelsi, Jason, Johnathan, Mia, Gracie, Hannah, Jordan, Tabby, Chase and Dakota. Great grandfather of Marty, Jason, Hayden, Isabella and Jace. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and his furever friend Mac.

Robert was born in New Orleans, LA on July 2, 1942 and was a long time resident of St. Bernard Parish. He was a member of the Andrew Jackson Masonic Lodge # 428 in Arabi, LA. Robert retired from Kaiser Aluminum and Lake Borne Levee District after many years of service. He was an avid LSU and New Orleans Saints fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Robert will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
