Robert Carl “Bobby” Cornwall Sr. passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the age of 67. He is survived by his lifelong partner Sheila Fetter; sister, Alice Ann Cornwall Byrd; children, Randy Joe Cornwall, Robert “Bobby” Cornwall Jr, Ronnie Cornwall, Robin Cornwall Davis Devillier, Kathryn “Kacie” Cornwall Carroll; step-children, Jessica Fetter Lewis and Christopher Thomas Fetter; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren including the late Niko. Preceded in death by his parents Alice Evans Cornwall and Woodrow Wilson Cornwall; siblings, Rogers Cornwall, Daniel Cornwall, Ronnie Cornwall, Cynthia Cornwall, Stephen Michael Cornwall, and Melanie Toups.
Bobby is a native of St. Bernard Parish and resided in Arabi, LA. He was a retired tugboat captain and truck driver. Bobby will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest with his family in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, St. Bernard, LA.
