Marie Olivia Frame

Marie Olivia Andre Frame passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the age of 87. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her very memorable life. She was the cherished wife of 68 years to the late Simpson J. Frame Jr. Loving mother of Donna Frame Hemelt (Milton) and Simpson Joseph Frame III (the late Bridgette). Proud grandmother of Nicole Leigh Plain (Kalvin), Nina Hemelt (Jewel), Nisa Lynn Hemelt Mohon (Josh), Freddie Ubas (Tonya), Kelly Frame Evans (Seth) and Ryan Frame. Sister of the late Ethyl Foster and Noah Andre. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her 19 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Marie Olivia was a native of Blanks, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Picayune, MS.

Marie Olivia was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who truly enjoyed life through her simple pleasures. She found joy in talking on the phone and sharing stories with her friends & family and cherished every moment spent dancing with her husband.

She will be remembered for her unwavering loyalty and dedication to her family, her loving spirit, infectious laughter, and the special way she spoiled her grandchildren. Affectionately known for her good nature and generous heart, she was a wonderful example of what it means to care for others.

Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of so many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, dear Marie Olivia. Your legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire those of us waiting to see you once again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, October 30th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a Mass in Marie’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to eternal rest with her beloved husband in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
