Kevin Brent Martin Sr.

Kevin Brent Martin Sr., a native of Chalmette, Louisiana and a current resident of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the age of 54. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 34 years Kim Moran Martin. Papa will be missed by his pride and joy his grandchildren Kole Brent Martin, Kamdyn Aston Martin, Kanton Royce Martin and Hudsyn Brin Martin. He was also survived by his father Allen H Martin Sr., brother Brian A. Martin (Cherie) sisters Michelle M. Kitto (Steven)and Kelli M. Burgard (Eddie). Brothers in-law Bob L. Moran Jr (Connie) and Tommy A. Moran (Sherri). Uncle Curly Head was loved by many nieces and nephews.

The family will miss Kevin deeply but we find comfort by the thought that Kevin was welcomed and reunited into the next life by his beloved son Kevin Brent Martin Jr. who greeted him with a warm hug. He also was preceded in death by his mother Faye Marchadie Martin his brother Allen H Martin Jr and his father-in-law Bob L Moran Sr. Kevin loved hunting, relaxing on the beach, going to car auctions or just hanging with his best friend and “Brother “ Tommy. But most of all spending time with his wife and grandchildren. There was not much Kevin couldn’t do . He was a man of honor and loyalty. Kevin kept his word and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He never met a stranger.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM -1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM.
