Glenn Eugene Bollinger was called to his eternal home on Saturday, January 18, 2020, after fighting lung cancer. Glenn is survived by his mother, Claire O. Landry, by his wife, Cindy, and his mother-in-law, Frances Sellars. Glenn is also survived by his son, James Shaw and wife Tina, and his son Nick Ragas and wife Julie. Two granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Isabella Shaw, grandson Christopher Phagan, great-grandson David Phagan and David's mother, Lacy Jarreau. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Lyla Chustz, Mary Pizzolato, David and Tammy Chustz, and Chris and Aileen Chustz, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and their families. Two wonderful aunts, LeeAnna Bollinger and Joyelyn Heintz, and very special lifelong friends, Claude Maher, Sr., Ralph"Toy" Tufaro, and Jason Gannon.
Special thanks to Dr. Siva Yadlapati, Dr. Bolling Haygood, Mary Bird Perkins nurses and staff, Pointe Coupee Hospice, especially Joann, Carolyn, and Todd, Chad Soprano, the management team of Soprano's Supermarket, and staff of Soprano's Supermarket.
Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, LA, on Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. A memorial service, officiated by his dear friend Mike Indest, will be held at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
