Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Riecke; his sons, Frank Jr., Steven, David, and Scott (Robin); his grandchildren, Sarah, TJ, Rebekah, and Bailey; his great-grandchildren, Ajay and Alaihna; and his best friend until the end, Kenny “Boom” Washington. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, the late Alma Clark and Frank P. Ballero; and by his brothers, the late Brian Ballero and John Ballero. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Frank retired from Exxon Mobil in 2011, was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American Legion Post 307, and Pete Fountain’s Half-Fast Walking Club. He was a wonderful man, husband, father, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation and share fond memories on Monday, October 11, 2021, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Frank will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, with military honors.
