Evelyn "Bebé" Serigne Howard

Evelyn "Bebé" Serigne Howard, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the age of 95. Loving wife to the late Joseph "Jr." Morales and the late William Howard. Mother of Ruth Gettle (late Jerry Gettle Sr.), Barbara Jackson (Tommy) and the late Maureen “Renie” Vasquez. Daughter of the late Joseph “Lafite” Serigne Sr. and Camellia Campo Serigne. Sister to Paul Serigne Sr. (Philomene), the late Joseph Serigne Jr. (Francis), the late Howard Serigne Sr. Proud grandmother to 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and a long list of nieces, nephews and friends of old and new. Evelyn was born and raised in Delecroix, LA. After marrying, moved to Arabi and raised her family. Evelyn leaves behind everyone with a long, blessed life of love and friendship. You will be missed and forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew you. May God our father bless you for all eternity!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE ST., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. Interment will be private.
