Doreen M. Giammanchere Smith passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the age of 65. She was born in New Orleans, LA to Joseph and Louise Giammanchere. Doreen was the mother of Amy Hamann. Proud grandmother of Cayla Cordes and Anthony JP Dugas. Loving sister to John Leo Giammanchere. Godmother of Tammy G. Robertson. She also leaves behind beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Giammanchere Sr., and Louise Culotta Giammanchere; her grandson CJ Cordes; her brother Joseph Giammanchere Jr.
She will be forever remembered.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 11:00AM-1:00PM. A memorial service will begin at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS.
