Barbara A. Glover

In loving memory of Barbara A. Glover, a devoted wife and mother. She was the loving spouse to Hershey B. Glover. Caring mother to Sheila Borne (Randy Sr.); grandmother to Randy Borne, Jr. (Lindsey), and Brandon Borne (Paige); great-grandmother to Luke Borne, Eli Borne, and Emma Borne. Proud sister of Glenn Dupuy Sr. (Veronica) and Richard Dupuy (Charlene). She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Lauvenia Dupuy.

Barbara Glover was born in Hammond, LA and was a current resident of Chalmette, LA. She was known for her dedication and warmth, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her. After a fulfilling career spanning 30 years, Barbara retired from JoAnn Fabrics, where she shared her passion for sewing and crafts with countless customers and colleagues. Her creative spirit and expertise were truly remarkable.

One of Barbara's greatest joys in life was her involvement with the Red Hat Society, where she found friendship and camaraderie with like-minded individuals. Her love for socializing and creating lasting memories with her fellow society members was a testament to her vibrant spirit.

However, above all else, Barbara cherished her role as a grandmother. She deeply loved her grandchildren, often spending precious moments with them, instilling in them a love for the simple pleasures in life.

Barbara's memory will be eternally cherished by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of creativity, kindness, and the ability to find joy in life's little moments.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM.
