Mr. Walter Carter entered into rest at Bibb Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Carter of Centreville; daughters, Pam Smelley(Steve) of Brent, Tammy Foley(Randy) of Brent, Helen Jones(Willis) of West Blocton, Deborah McDonald(Larry) of Brent, Robin Jamison(Dave) of Virginia and Diane Hobson of Tuscaloosa; brother, Orville Carter(Ann) of Saraland; sister, Doris Robertson(Ferrell) of Fayette; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Greg Carter and sisters, Stella Graves, Pauline Morrison and Christine Watts.
