Sandra "Sandy" Lumpee Johnson

Sandy was born on November 30th in Jacksonville, FL to Paul and Irene Lumpee. She was joined with Our Heavenly Father February 29, 2024. She worked in the medical field for over 30 years.

Sandy will be remembered as someone who loved her family and friends and who cared for all animals, especially cats. She had the best laugh and a great sense of humor. Her family is comforted by knowing she is now reunited with her husband of 57 years, Albert E Johnson Jr.

Sandy is survived by her children, Jeff (Laura), Dody (Matt/Chet/John) and Mike (Jessica); her grandchildren Katie, Robert (Christiana), Corey (Jessie), Alexa, Aleah (Ashton), Matthew, Alayna (Carter), Bryan, Alesia, and Laura; her great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Ashlyn, Lillian, Kaelyn, Jillian, Lilly, Holly, Aria, M’Kayla and many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Centreville, Alabama.

Sandy will be laid to rest with her husband, Al, at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513. Date and time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandy’s memory may be made to Humane Society.
