Richard L Foster, age 86, of Centreville, Alabama passed away on Thursday July 2, 2020. R L was born April 25, 1934. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Foster of Centreville; daughters, Vicki Bolding(Billy) of Randolph and Amy Hatter(Bobby) of Centreville, son, Rick Foster(Karen) of Boaz; sister, Shirley Turley of Marion; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. R L was a deacon of Brent Baptist Church for 45 + years, served as Bibb Counties Circuit Clerk for 24 years, retired from Alabama National Guard. He was a special person to everybody he met. He was a Christian servant to people that needed help.
A private graveside service for R L held Monday, July 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Pineland Memorial Cemetery with Rockco Funeral Home Centreville directing. Rev. Jim Headley officiated. Pallbearers, Jonathan Bolding, Chris White, Justin Bracknell, Ben Haase, Robey Brooks and Max Latham. Honorary pallbearers, Cody Qumby and Cornelius Pierce.
