Pearlie Vae George, age 85, of Woodstock, Alabama passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Pearlie was born March 23, 1935. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Armstrong of Centreville and Donna Smitherman(Eddie) of West Blocton; sons, James George(Judy) of Woodstock, Jeff George(Aler) of Woodstock and Jason George(Allison) of Woodstock; sister, Verla Carroll of Woodstock; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kristi Deerman and Gracen Deerman; Michelle Marchant(Lance) and Alayna and Cayden Marchant; Candi Rice(Chris) and Jaiden and Drue McKinney; Heidi Syx(Larry) and Lydia and Annika Syx; Leigh Gamble and Dylan and Alyssa Gamble; Kim Burt(Kellan) and Bella, Lillie, Georgia and Asa Burt; Kayla Watts(Koty) and Brennan and Brinlee Watts; Jackson Britton. She is preceded in death by her Loving husband of over 50 years, Richard George; her parents, Ed and Josephine Smith; sisters, Jennie Carroll and Ann Wolfe; her brother, Rayford Smith.
Receiving of friends for Pearlie will be held Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at George Residence, 396 George Lane, Woodstock, AL. A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM at George Family Cemetery, 396 George Lane, Woodstock, AL. Rev. Robert Smith officiating.
