Patricia Lawley Barton, age 65, of Centreville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She spent her life caring for children, whether they were her own or not, she loved them all. She loved to host family gatherings and game nights. Pat loved to feed her family well, whether cooking, baking or canning. She was talented with sewing and crafts. Her favorite place to be was at the beach.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Mae Lawley and Harvey F. Lawley; husband, John S. Hubbard, Jr.; son, Matt Burt; sister, Johnnie Faye Davis; and brother-in-law, Dwayne Earl Hartley. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Mickey Barton; children, Brook Simmons (Thomas), Lauren Duncan (Brian) and Kyle Burt; stepson, Seth Barton (Hannah); grandchildren, Hannah Stevens (Daniel), Hailey Lucas (Justin), Hayden Duncan, Macey Duncan, Cade Duncan, Delainey Duncan, Amber Simmons, Brayden Simmons, Haley Hoyt, Will Hubbard, Savannah Hubbard, Lexi Burt, Landon Burt, Holden Barton and Grayson Hayes Barton; great-grandchildren, Braxton Stevens, Harper Stevens, Jase Lucas, Maddie Lucas, and Kaiden Simmons; sister, Leila Hartley; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held at Pineview Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mark Lovett to officiate. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Pineland Memorial Cemetery.
