Elizabeth was born to the late, P.M. and Etoyle Breland on December 10, 1936. She was a member of Centreville Baptist Church. During her free time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her infamous chicken and dressing will be missed at every family gathering.
She is survived by her daughter in law, Angela Martin Kinard; grandchildren, Samantha (Jonathan) Sims and Dillon (Kaylynn) Martin; great grandchildren, Addison, Canaan, Jack, and Bradlynn; her brother, John Milton (Patsy) Breland; her sisters, Evelyn Breland Hughey and Jean Breland Griffin and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Martin; her son, Marc Martin; brothers, Lavoy Breland, and Manly Breland; sisters, Pauline Crawford, Lois Nichols Hartley, Inez Breland Jones, Margaret Epps, and Willie Faye Colburn.
Visitation for Elizabeth Martin will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Her final resting place will be at Pineland Memorial Cemetery, 3472 Montgomery Highway, Centreville, Alabama.
Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Kinard, Dillon Martin, Ronnie Fondren Jr., Tony Brooks, Austin Brooks and Jonathan Sims.
Pastor Ken Fuller will be conducting services.
