It is with heavy hearts that we announce the profound loss of our beloved Annie Ruth Moore, a woman of immense character and unwavering faith. Born on March 5, 1937, in the humble town of Heiberger, Alabama, she departed this earthly realm on January 4, 2024, at the age of 86, in Marion, Alabama.
Annie Ruth’s presence in our lives was a cherished gift. She embodied the timeless values of family, love, and dedication. Her memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of her children: Patricia (James) Jordan, Pamela (Phillip) Milam, and Tommie (Susan) Moore. To her grandchildren, Brandi Brugge, Rebecca Hall, Jason (Tracy) Hunt, Blake Jordan and Jenny Jordan, Mitchell (Miranda) Milam, Michael (Harley) Milam, her great-grandchildren, Ford Brugge, Brooks Hall, and Ellie Jordan, Madison Milam, Jakob Stone, Matthew Milam, Mason Milam, Kinzlee Milam, Marlee Milam, Emma Milam and Colton Milam will carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion. Her loving sister Carliene Perry and Sister in Laws Peggy Krehmke and Dorothy Lee and a host of nieces and nephews

As we mourn Annie Ruth’s loss, we take solace in the knowledge that she has been reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her. She joins her parents, Clifford and Miriam Poole, her father-in-law, JT Moore, her mother-in-law, Bertha Lee Moore, her daughter, Barbara Hunt, and son-in-law, CJ Hunt, in the embrace of eternal peace.
Annie Ruth's love for learning and dedication to education led her through the halls of Heiberger Elementary and Perry County High School, shaping her into the remarkable woman we remember today. Her unwavering faith flourished within the sacred walls of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where she found solace and guidance in her relationship with God and her fellow worshippers.
In honoring Annie Ruth's life, we gather to celebrate her enduring spirit on January 8, 2024, with visitation from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Service will follow after visitation. Burial will be at the Marion Cemetery. Together, we will express our profound gratitude for the blessings she bestowed upon our lives and bid her farewell with utmost respect and love. Pallbearers are Larry Krehmke, Jim Poole, Johnny Lee, Joe Poole, Mike Poole, Jerry Lee and Darryl Bracknell. Honorary Pallbearers are Legacy Hospice of the South.
